needed food on short order/pouring rain/stopped by Publix for some toiletries...ordered Wor Won Ton soup, Mu Shu Chicken, Beef Fried Rice, and Eggplant in Garlic Sauce. daughter enjoyed her soup, no complaints. son enjoyed his fried rice, cooked as ordered with no veggie fillings. wife's mu shu was alright, not bad, but not outstanding either. my eggplant dish was also not too bad, but a little greasier than other Chinese restaurants. prices were reasonable for a fast-food service-type of facility. menu offers a nice variety as well as a lunch selection that seemed fairly wide!

Well its fast Chinese what can i say. My usual dishes such Mongolian beef and fried rice seem to be heavier on the oil. The server was very responsive to needs.

Food was tasty but the General Tso's chicken was not spicy. Sweet & Sour chicken was mostly breading. Hot & sour soup and wanton soup were good. Poo Poo platter was ok. Ribs were mostly fat, shrimp had too much breading. Egg rolls were good. C H E C K YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE. They left out several items, but we were not charged for them.

not bad not great. Some items are a little pricey but it was exactly what I expected. Everything was ready in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly.

The food was less than desirable. Hot and sour soup was good, but the orange chicken was terrible, so just don't order that

Food was just okay, but the location is great! I placed my order, walked over to Publix, and picked it up when I was finished. I live a few minutes away so I'll be back!

Decent, cheap Chinese food. $5-7 dollars for lunch and food is what you'd expect for the price. Nothing fabulous, but if you're looking for a quick, cheap lunch, this place works. Place was empty when we arrived at 1:00. Good service, food was ready quickly.

The food was okay, but my entree didn't have a lot of flavor. The sides and rice were very tasty. The man at the counter also didn't want to give me a couple more packets of soy sauce. There were 2 in the bag but we had way too much food for that. The restaurant was clean and the food was ready very quick. I'd give them another try if I had a craving for Chinese.

We decided to try Chinese Food at China One and I couldn't believe how bad it was. We got Roast Port LoMein, General Tso's Chicken, Crab Rangoon, egg rolls and BBQ Ribs. The ribs were country style and no flavor, I've never been given country style ribs slabs of pork at a Chinese restaurant when I ordered BBQ ribs. LoMein and General Tso's were flavorless. The best was when we asked for the sweet sauce for the crab rangoon because where we are from the sweet sauce comes with Crab Rangoon, the woman said use duck sauce, that's sweet! When we asked if they had the sweet sauce she said yes! but you should have asked for it before I brought your food out. We were dumbfounded and told her we didn't want the sauce. We won't be going back again, that's for sure!

Initially when I first moved to the area the food here was superb as far as Chinese take out restaurants go. They had the best Crab Rangoon I've ever had. Now two years later they have dropped the ball. The special house rice is a little bland. The Crab Rangoon tastes as if I went to a Chinese Buffet and the Crab Rangoon's been sitting there for an hour. Very Disappointed. The staff is very friendly but they have to step it up. If the food tasted like it once did, I would have gave it 4 stars.

Food was sub par. Tasted like very cheap take out in a sit down environment . Never coming again.

Got there at closing time and they stayed open 15 minutes late to make my food! Great dumplings and the tofu in the MaPa soft tofu was fresh and tasty. Looking forward to trying their other dishes.

Not impressed at all.. Fried rice was bland and you could tell it was microwaved. Expensive.

I have ordered from this place a few times over the phone so I cannot speak on behalf of the customer experience within the restaurant. With that being said, the food is below mediocre. It is tasteless and usually on the cold side. This restaurant is one of those Chinese restaurants that is just not authentic.

Love it!! Hole in the wall place with very good authentic food! Such great service and they aim to please. If your in the Davenport/Champions Gate area drop in. You will leave full and happy. Give the shrimp lo mein a try.

We've been hesitant to try this place because of the bad reviews but finally gave it a try. It was well worth it. Good quality white chicken, good recipes, very nice people. We will come back and would recommend it.

We were in Orlando last week and I picked up take out from China One because it was close to our condo. The person taking our order was very nice but extemely slow, we were the only people in there! We ordered the 5 Flavor Chicken and the 5 Flavor Shrimp. It was so bland and the shrimp had no flavor. We also ordered the Shrimp with Vegetables, again bland as hell. The fried rice sucked. After 2 bites the food was returned. The clerk voided the order, no questions asked. My daughter did like the vegetable soup.

Went here for a simple lunch before going Hang-gliding at Wallaby Ranch nearby. Place was clean, food came with egg fried rice (very bland and blah) and a pork egg roll (good and meaty). I ordered the 5 spice chicken which wasn't very spicy. The sauce was thick and the meat was fresh and not fatty, but it wasn't cooked that well. The hot and sour soup was the same - good fresh ingredients, but not cooked that well. The sauce wasn't perfect for hot and sour, but the fresh mushrooms were a great touch. My friend ordered the "Triple Threat" which was 5 spice chicken, beef and shrimp. It needed calamari, fish, dark meat chicken, etc. The beef was too chewy, the shrimp unmarinated, etc. Not bad, but definitely not good. They need a different chef in my opinion. 2.5 stars.

I'm extremely surprised at how good Chinese food is from this place. I had fully intended to walk on by and go to Subway next-door for a quick sandwich when I saw the sign on the door that said that they had been in business in the same place for 12 years. Considering the limited foot traffic that stripmall gets, that's got to be some kind of record accomplished. Anyway, I ordered an extra spicy chicken dish and some chicken and broccoli. Both were well above average, and considering the limited storefront that these guys put out, extraordinary. Anyway, I give them a thumbs up!

I know I'm going against the grain here when I give this four stars, but man. For fast food Chinese, this place was awesome. My friend and I ordered takeout chicken, rice, lo mein, etc., and egg rolls that were heavenly. The guy who took our order was super nice, too and he let us take like, fifty packets of soy sauce, haha. My friend and I still talk about that meal and how we wish we could go back.

The restaurant opens at 11:30. At 11:29 I was calling to see what time they open. On about then12th ring the man answers and says 11:30. I waited. He unlocks the door several minutes later does not speak grabs the rug and goes back in not even holding door open. I then yelped it and made the decision to trust the people and not eat here.

Ate here on a business trip. I ordered BBQ ribs as an appetizer and Bourbon Chicken with fried rice as an entree. The BBQ ribs were obviously straight from the fridge as one end of the ribs were hot and the other end of the ribs were cold, fridge cold. They weren't cooked long enough. Additionally the entree came out barely warm. The hottest thing on the plate was the egg roll which had just come out of a deep fryer. Although they seemed to have a constant take out business going, my co-worker and I were the only people eating in the dining room. For whatever reason they seemed to be in a big hurry to get the food out fast as they didn't cook it long enough. The portions were ample, but the food was fairly tasteless. Should have gone to the Chilli's down the block or the McDonald's in the same lot.

Family of five, pleased only one - sweet & sour chicken was decent, but it's hard to screw up. Egg fried rice was bland, General Tso's tasted like sweet and sour chicken. Egg drop soup was solid, however. Fortune cookie read, "you must face the consequences of your actions". I'd offer the same advice to anyone dining here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
